SAG-AFTRA

SAG-AFTRA, founded in 2012 after Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA) merged, is an American labor union that represents over 160,000 film and television actors, journalists, radio personalities, recording artists, singers, voice actors, and other media professionals worldwide. SAG-AFTRA's mission is to negotiate and enforce collective bargaining agreements that establish equitable levels of compensation, benefits, and working conditions for its members, while its vision is to be recognized as the world’s most respected, powerful, and influential union within the media and entertainment industry. The union is headquartered in Los Angeles, California, but operates across various locations in the United States including New York, Chicago, San Francisco, among other cities.
