Ohio Department of Transportation

The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is a governmental organization established in 1972, dedicated to improving safety, supporting economic development, and enhancing the quality of life in Ohio through building, maintaining, and regulating the state's transportation system. ODOT's mission is to provide an efficient and safe transportation system for people and goods, while its vision is to be a long-term, reliable and professional transportation agency. Headquartered in Columbus, the agency has twelve district offices located across the state, and it is responsible for maintaining one of the largest transportation networks in the nation.
